JOHN INGRASSIA and The Johnny I. Band are a regional Blues/Rock act from the northeast.

Johnny I. have been leaving audiences floored with their high energy show earning them a nomination from their fans in 2002 and 2003 for "BEST BLUES/ROCK BAND" in CT.


Johnny I. has appeared at many blues clubs in the northeast including BLACKEYED SALLYS (Hartford, CT)THE BLUES (New Haven, CT)CAFE 9 (New Haven,CT)THE HUNGRY TIGER(Manchester,CT)TOADS PLACE(New Haven, CT)and THE CROSSROADS (NY)he has also performed and recorded with many prominent musicians.John also conducts blues /rock clinics around the CT area.



Johnny I. has also made many radio and internet interviews and performances on shows such as SUNDAY NIGHT BLUES w/ BEEF STEW on The Rock 106.9WCCC , internet radio show DUECES WYLDE and the ESPRESSO SHOT . Their debut CD ***(((TIMES IS TOUGH)))***was released on Sept 19th 2003 off of AVID-records ,recorded at Avid Development and produced and mixed by Doug Ferrara. Times is Tough has been getting great reviews and national and international radio play in ITALY, DENMARK, ARGENTINA  and   POLAND.
